Torverk’s In-House Developed Motor Drives for Bi-Folding and Sliding Doors

Choose from Multiple Motor Drive Options

Torverk offers various types of motor drives for bi-folding and sliding doors. The choice of motor depends on the door's size and the available space around the door opening.

Top-Mounted Motor Drive

For smaller three- and four-panel doors. Four-panel doors can be up to 5 meters high with a maximum area of 25 m², while three-panel doors can have a maximum area of 19 m².

Linear Drive Mechanism

Used for sliding doors and large bi-folding doors (usually over seven meters wide).

Rack and Pinion Drive

For two-, three-, and four-panel bi-folding doors. Used when side space is limited and the opening area is large. Maximum height is five meters.

Side-Mounted Motor Drive

If you have a larger door, limited overhead space, or a door opening taller than five meters, motors are required on both sides of the door.

With regular maintenance, a motor drive from Torverk will operate reliably for many years. By keeping up with your service, you qualify for a 5-year warranty on the motor drive.

Standard Features of the EP104 Control Automation

The open, stop, and close buttons come standard mounted on the control automation enclosure.

Features include:

Inputs for pinch protection
Load monitoring in both opening and closing directions
Input for safety photocell
Timing functions such as automatic closing, walk-time limiter, and delayed closing after door passage
Inputs for operation commands: open, stop, close, open-close, open-stop-close
Functions for limited opening, hold-open, and airlock operation

Control Automation – Motorised Bi-Folding and Sliding Doors

Several optional features are available for the control automation system.

Security

Traffic light functions for red and green signals, including pre-illumination before door closing.
Requires an output card.
Signal lights; rotating or flashing.
Loop detector, programmed like a safety photocell. The loop detector has two inputs for loops, which can be programmed for the same function or two different control functions.
Radar sensor, mounted on the door panel as an additional safety measure.

Automatic Operation:

Radar sensor mounted above the opening for automatic door activation.
Input for radio receiver. Radio systems are available with one or multiple control functions, and transmitters can operate one or several doors.
Loop detector programmed for opening function.

Monitoring

Output card enabling control of various accessories based on the door''s position, direction of movement, etc.
Alarm functions including position alarm, faulty pinch protection alarm, triggered loop alarm, activated photocell alarm, stop signal, and critical automation errors.
Direction detection function to determine whether a vehicle is entering or exiting through the door opening.
Presence detection function.

External Control:

Pushbutton boxes with one or multiple buttons for various functions. Basic functions include open-stop-close, but any function can be assigned. Available with or without key control. Key operation comes with either a removable key in the active position or a spring-return function.
