Q-Door Sliding Door Built with Sandwich-Constructed Panels

The Q-Door panel is robustly constructed. The panel is 56 mm thick with a 0.6 mm steel cladding, featuring corrosion protection level C5 from the start. The density of the insulating foam provides excellent thermal insulation, resulting in low operating costs and a warm indoor environment.

Corrosion-Protected GreenCoat Steel from SSAB

The cladding sheet is made of sturdy 0.6 millimeters thick SSAB GreenCoat, protecting the door against rust for many years.

Hurricane-Proof Seals & Hardware

The sliding door seals are custom-made and designed to provide the best possible tightness. At the top and bottom, where the door meets the floor or threshold, we use brush seals.

Along the sides and between the panels, we use high-quality, wear- and weather-resistant EPDM rubber seals.

Locks

By default, your manual sliding door comes with a padlockable espagnolette operated from the inside.

Motorized doors don''t require additional locks since they are designed so they cannot be opened from the outside. If you need outside access, an open impulse or disengagement is necessary.

We can also equip motorized sliding doors with cylinder locks if required.

In-House Manufactured Hardware

Hardware is a crucial detail for easy door operation and also affects the door''s lifespan.

That''s why our sliding doors are equipped with heavy-duty, in-house manufactured fittings of the highest quality—for low friction and smooth handling.

Guide Rail and Shoe

The cantilevered sliding door hangs on carrier trolleys that run in rolled rails, guided at the bottom by guide shoes or, for wider doors, a guide rail cast into the floor. The door panels are reinforced at attachment points.

Size & Panels

Width: By constructing sliding doors in multiple panels, the width is virtually unlimited.

Height: The maximum height for a sliding door is 6 meters.

Panels and Movement Patterns

Our doors are made of one or several panels, allowing virtually unlimited width. You can choose a single-leaf door that opens to the right or left.

A double-leaf sliding door typically opens in two directions. In special cases, we can equip your door with double tracks so both panels open in the same direction.

Windows & Pedestrian Doors

Windows

The door''s windows meet the same high-quality standards as the rest of the components and are designed to reinforce the door panel. By default, we use insulated glazing, and the aluminum window frames feature a thermal break.

Pedestrian Door

If the door will be used not only for vehicle traffic but also for pedestrian access, it''s advisable to install a pedestrian door as well.

Opening the entire door for pedestrian passage is both impractical and inefficient from operational and energy perspectives.

Motorized Operation

The motor drive for sliding doors uses linear machinery and, as standard, includes pinch protection and load monitoring in both opening and closing directions, input for safety photocells, and timing functions such as automatic closing and delayed closing after passage.

There are also inputs for various control options, such as open-close commands and limited opening functions.
